Embrace Genomics. A free, modular, online course by Johns Hopkins Medicine (with advisory board members from the HUGO Education Committee). Embrace Genomics is an NIH-funded project to create genomic education materials for individuals employed in entry-level clinical and laboratory positions. There are six, case-based clinical genomic modules (Cancer, Cardiology, Neonatal, Pediatric, Prenatal, and Responsible Conduct of Research) and a 16-day laboratory genomics course. The modules can be completed on the website and all materials (PowerPoints, audio recordings, and transcripts) can be downloaded and saved.
Animations on 6 key concepts are available. These animations are linked from within the educational modules to enhance understanding and can also be viewed independently via this link.
